  • Open Question: Will a free sat box work with a sky Satellite dish aerial ?

  • Resolved Question: belkin g wireless router?

i am getting a good signal, but went onto maplin website and found signal boosters, i.e replaceable antennas where your current signal would be boosted... so i was thinking of taking the aerial off my router and plugging one end of a coaxial cable into my router and the other end into my digital Satellite dish... what would you suggest?

  • Resolved Question: Is there an equivalent to the UK Freeview in Hong Kong?

I live in the UK, and as a result, I am used to watching many free tv channels on my Freeview box at home, for which I had only needed to pay a one off fee for the box, plug the aerial in it and away I went! However, my family also has a flat in Hong Kong and we are visiting HK for a little while. On switching on the TV, I am only given 4 free channels to watch. Is there anything similar and as easy to use and get to the UK Freeview box here in HK? I am wary against getting subscriptions or having satellite dishes as I will not be here for too long (only a few more weeks). Thank you!

  • Resolved Question: Can i use the cable from my Satellite dish in my freeview digital recorder ?

  • Resolved Question: Satellite aerial dish in loft, ok?

Early TV aerials were always exterior mounted, time showed that they can be adequately put in the loft. Any valid reason why not for a dish type?
