Electric garage doors are easy to use, A track is fitted above the centre of your door, fixed at one end to the lintel (or wall above the lintel) and at the other end to the rafters in the ceiling.
The motor of electric garage doors is located at the end of the track and by way of a chain, screw drive or belt moves a carriage along the track. The carriage is connected to your garage door or a converter bracket. Electric garage doors operate via a remote for when you may be in your car, a wall switch is fitted in your house or garage so if you are home then you only have to press a button, If there was a power cut in the house then there is a manual release mechanism.
