I'm a bit out of my depth with types of contracts and trying to investigate the risk allocation between these two contracts: JCT '05 Standard Building Contract with Quantities JCT '05 with Contractors Design Could anyone share some knowledge with me? I am closely associated with the building industry, and I can tell you that domestic property contractors are being shot down by the dozen. Small engineering firms are being hit too - even quantity surveyors are having to count their own costs... I must say, I do applaud Darling for this. I am trying to refrain...... no sorry I just can't - What do you think of this move by Alastair "Don't Call Me" Darling?
