Floor - Fit Only
Interior designers agree on one thing: there’s nothing quite as durably stylish as good-quality tiles carefully chosen, well-designed and properly applied.

Always plan the design and layout of tiled floors on paper first, especially if you are going to mix shapes and designs. Take account of the fixtures and fittings in the room as the design will have to work alongside these features. Try to avoid patterned tiles at internal corners where they will have to be cut and the beauty of the design could be lost. Also try to avoid using a quarter or less of a tile on an end wall, as the small parts are very difficult to accurately cut without breaking the small end section. Remember to remove an inward opening door before starting to tile the room because the tiling will raise the level of the floor. Adjustments will be required before re-hanging the doors. Also remove any cupboard doors at floor level before starting.
Open Question: bathroom decoration...?
I currently have a bath & sink in one room with my toilet in another. If I knock the two rooms into one, other than the spiralling house prices, would this have much negative effect on the saleability/price of my flat in the future??
Every wall is currently tiled top to bottom, I'd only want to partially tile my future bathroom. Also am thinking of having a cabinet under the sink. Can you also give me an idea of where I should start???!!!
Much appreciated!! x
Open Question: cracked tiles?
Stupidly, I cracked some tiles by scraping furniture across it. Is there any way of covering the cracks up, like a colouring crayon or something like that?

Open Question: I'm looking to buy a suction shower head holder... I found 'Shuc' but just wondered if there was cheaper?!
I want to buy a suction shower head holder, as I have a tile bathroom and can't be drilling holes and making a mess, but would love to be able to shower with 2 hands to wash my hair with! The only product I found so far is 'Shuc' but after postage etc it's about £20 and I just wondered if anyone had seen anything similar anywhere else!? Thanks!
