Flooring - Laminate

Flooring fitters, Laminate flooring is a wear-resistant decorative surface made of resin-based melamine.

parquet wood flooring

Laminate is a material that is bonded to a moisture-resistant wood-based core. A balancing backing is bonded to the underside of the core. Since the resin-filled wear layer is so dense, it becomes extremely difficult to stain, scratch, or burn with a cigarette. Laminate flooring also comes in a range of different finishes and is also used for home and business office use. Hardwood flooring is much longer lasting and of a far superior quality to the usual laminate flooring used by many  wood flooring companies in the UK. Some people chose to have laminate flooring rather than real solid wood flooring because is less expensive.

  • Open Question: He drvies me to the point of beating him!?

My 12 year old brother (who is equal in height, weight and strength to me) is constantly saying hurtful things to me and my mother. I'm 16. His favourite thing to do is laugh about the fact that our father once beat me badly and broke my arm, and now my father refuses to acknowledge my existence. My brother knows that I had severe anxiety over that attack, but still is always making jokes about it. My mum doesn't get involved, as she feels there's nothing she can do. Today, after he made jokes, I beat him to the floor, smacked him until he was covered in red marks and pulled his hair... this time he fought back and actually hurt me. He's getting out of control. I can no longer beat him until he cries like I could before - what should I do? If I try to talk to him, he shouts ''woop woop'' in my face constantly until I leave.

  • Open Question: Should she talk to a solicitor?

My friend went shopping yesterday with her brother and was trying on a hat in a sports shop. She turned towards the pay desk buy the hat and tripped over a sports bag (displayed on the floor at the feet on a mannequin??) and fell and broke her wrist. She was taken to hospital, where the doctors had to 'pull it back in' and had a cast put on. She went home and was told this morning they would need a pin it tomorrow. The owner of the shop wasn't in yesterday but said he'd call her to see how she was doing today, she hasn't heard anything yet. Do you think she should talk to a solicitor about what happened - I think she should but another friend said he thought that would be too extreme and to just let it go, what do you think?

  • Open Question: Karate, Am I correct in my assumptions, (White Belt)?

I am learning and participating in Karate. I have come to some conclusions. Please correct me if they are wrong. 1.Never talk to a black belt 2.When you are badly hit and in pain, get back to a fighting stance 3.When you are totally physically exhausted and have No strength left other than to lye on the floor and try to get some oxygen back, stand up and get into a fighting posture. (Otherwise you loose dignity) Its acceptable to lye on the floor when you are unconscious!
