Open Question: looking for an angled floor strip?
I have just laid a laminate floor.
I decided not to continue into another room and stopped at the door of another, so therefor I don't need to use a threshold strip.
But I am left with a step where the two floors meet .The laminate and a flat floor.
The step is the thickness of the new floor +.underlay =aprox 8mm
I am looking to fit an angled floor trim.
Does anyone know where I can purchase one?
I have looked on the internet and have visited the more obsvious DIY stores,ie...B&Q....but with no luck.

Have you ever said something, purely as a joke, which wasn't even that funny, but you got a really big laugh?
Today at work I was helping my co-worker put some cleaning supplies away and I spilled some of the cleaning stuff on the floor. I went to get a cloth and started wiping it up. She helped me and said "Well, at least the floor's going to be clean!" At which point I said "Yeah, and look at it this way: if our careers don't take off, we could always become cleaners!"
I didn't think it was that funny, in fact it was a daft thing to say, but she laughed. Loud. Either she's easily amused or I'm funnier than I give myself credit for.

Open Question: Is it normal to cry at this after time has passed?
When i was little i always used to sleep at my grandparents house. They had a tabby cat who i always used to play with. Anyways the cat died years ago and my grandparents died a year ago. I was in the house today (which my dad, his wife and her daughter are living in but only for a few more weeks until it is sold). Anyways they popped out for ten minutes and i took the opportunity to just mooch about the house and look at the quiet empty rooms. Then i went downstairs and a neighbours (tabby) cat had wandered in and flopped on the floor and was purring. I started stroking it and just burst into tears.
I think it was just memories and feeling sad i guess. But its over a year since my grandparents died and it's not like i haven't been in the house since or anything. I just felt really choked up.
