You can light a seating area in your garden for al fresco dining after dark, you can light ponds, paths or steps for safety reasons or you could use garden light to make the approach to your home and garden more inviting to guests - and less inviting to intruders. Sometimes you might need a qualified electrician to finish the job. You may simply use light to create subtle moods and highlights throughout your garden, or to emphasize architectural elements of your house.
This is a true story. A friend of a friend had recently been discharged from the pysch ward after suffering a severe psychotic episode. My friend enlisted him to help out landscaping his garden as something to help keep him busy and on track. On the first day the bloke was digging a trench for some raised beds. And dug up a spade. He went back into hospital the same day. So what interesting items have you dug up? I am a landscape gardener, and I am looking for some way to take pictures of a clients garden, upload them to my laptop then sit with the client and re-design the pictures with input from the client. Possibly a graphics tablet? photoshop? touch sensitive screen ? so I can draw straight onto the digital images. It would be good if there was a package available that provided different options of pre made objects such as fencing, block paving, turf, decking, shrubs which could be placed onto the photograph to show what the finished garden would look like. I have seen a kitchen designer use something similar where he took a picture of the clients kitchen, then showed her what it would look like with the new kitchen fitted. Any ideas Thanks I am a landscape gardener, and I am looking for some way to take pictures of a clients garden, upload them to my laptop then sit with the client and re-design the pictures with input from the client.
