Glaziers install windows and mirrors in homes and other buildings. They may install new glass or repair broken panes. When possible, glaziers cut glass in the shop rather than at the job site. They start by choosing double
glazing glass that meets the needs of the task. For example, they might choose thicker, stronger glass for a shower door than for a window. Glaziers put uncut glass on a cutting table and measure the cutting line. They use a glass-cutting tool with a hard wheel to mark the cutting line. By pressing the cutter's wheel firmly on the glass, glaziers cut into the surface of the glass. This process is known as " scoring" the surface. By pressing on the shorter end of the glass, glaziers break it along the score line. Once the glass is cut, glaziers may cut and apply anti-glare film to reduce glare. Glaziers may not cut all of their glass. Sometimes they order pre-made windows. For these items, glass is cut at a factory and installed in a frame before it is sent to glaziers. Resolved Question: how can i get more energy? (without drinking caffeine)?
i went to sleep at 3am this morning and expected to get a lie in, however i had to be up for 7am unexpectedly to give my parents a hand with their business. i am feeling utterly drained and need to feel more energised. what can i do? i dont want to drink coffee or tea or coke or any other caffeine drinks because they give me a headache and heart palpitations. i have had breakfast cereal and a glass of grape kiwi and apple smoothie this morning, opened the windows to let the fresh air in and i cant think of anything else to wake me up! any suggestions?
(ps, i would LOVE to go to sleep when my parents get back, but i know this will mess up my sleep cycle, should i take the dogs for a walk or something and hold off on sleeping for as late as i can so its more like a normal time?)

I have a double glazed anderson windows....the first glass the one that faces the outside cracked...Is there any way i can only replace the front glass and if so is it easy something that can be done alone.....or do i have to replace both the glasses....Any help will be apperciated...Thankss

Recently a vandal smashed the rear window of my H reg 1991 vw polo hatchback. I don't have comprehensive insurance on it so I will need to cover the cost of repairs myself. The trouble is Autoglass have quoted me £380 after discounts for a new one.I don't believe it's worth this much as the car is only valued at about £100. I have visited several breakers in my area and none of them have the glass that I need. I have also logged on to several online car breakers but without success. Everybody tells me my precious polo is too old.
Can anyone tell me a successful way to search of this part without paying a fortune for it?

Help guys, I'm twelve and most nights I don't sleep, and EVERY night I hear a noise that scares the crap out of me like a really loud groaning noise that similarly resembles an elephant but.. I dunno just weirder.
Afterwards I get an image from the point of view of someone lying on a bare wooden floor, breathing heavily and looking around a room with blood spattered everywhere, and a broken window with glass lying below it. It really freaks me out, though it lasts only for a split second, but I start sweating after I hear it. I haven't told anyone and I can't cope with this anymore! Please help!
