Kitchens - Install Only

Install only- there are a vast variety of companies that install kitchens.

When having a kitchen installed, make sure you choose a reputable company that is regulated with a governing body. Installation of kitchens is what makes your home. Ensure that the plans have been drawn up and are correct before any installation work takes place. There will be disruptions whilst installing your kitchen but these will be minor.

  • Open Question: What treatment should i use for my stone floor.?

I have took the linoneum up from the kitchen floor and found a yorkshire stone floor underneith. The blocks are quite big and i 'd like to use them as the floor surface. They were tanked in (thin layer of waterproof concrete over them) which i have chipped off. The stones are a bit rough in places and i'm not sure how to clean them up or whether they should be covered in some sealant or varnich to stoipp them getting dirty and so they can be mopped. Any suggestions. Thanks.

  • Open Question: Kitchen smoke cause greasy surfaces?

I have just moved into a new house and our kitchen, dining, and lounge area is all one open plan space. I love the place aesthetically speaking, but I have a concern... With having the kitchen and lounge etc in one open space, will cooking fumes from the kitchen cause all my surfaces in this area to get greasy? I am worried about smoke etc drifting around and blowing grease/oil all over, we have an extractor fan but they only do so much. Is this just a silly thought and my slight O.C.D playing tricks on me lol :) Anybody live in a similar setup and have you noticed this to be a problem? thanks in advance

  • Resolved Question: POLL: You see a $50 note on the floor, do you pick it up and keep it?

It is on the kitchen floor in your friends apartment and you are waiting for him to get back with the take away. No one else is there. It is not a dilemma for me, it never would be, honesty and integrity are fine qualities and you should look for these in friends. Look around on the answers, how many people would you trust based on their answers

  • Open Question: Any ideas how to get birds out of toasters?

So a 6 days ago i was in the kitchen drinking a glass of milk when suddenly a bird flys through the open window and into my toaster, it's gotten stuck but im 100% sure its ok. I then realized the next day this is problem because the bird keeps eating my BREAD. I tried taking the bird out of the toaster with some spoons. I made sure they were metal spoons so i didn't get shocked. Two days ago i ran out of bread so i started putting mayonnaise in the toaster to feed the bird. What should i do? Should i buy more bread?
