We are decorating our kitchen - having a new one fitted and painting. Will the smell of the paint affect me in any way & is it safe for me to paint. Also - about mayonaise. I love it so much, i heard that is it safe to eat it but not to make it yourself? Issy x

im concerned i have this girl coming around my house with a friend this weekend and my house is a mess well my parents (i live with my parents im 19) and the walls really need painting as there are marks over the walls and the bathroom is messy exspecially the walls as paint has come off and the bath panel has broke however the loo and bath are clean i really like this girl and have been around here house and her house (she lives with her parents too) is lovely, big and imaculate and really nicely decorated what should i do what do you think she is going to think we arnt going out with each other but i am going to to ask her out soon what would you think if you were her would you care about this

my mate lives in a house that is falling down around her she is trying to decorate the living room but she is a single parent and cant afford it i want to buy her the wall paper paint and carpet i know she wants her living room nice for christmas but the problem is she is a very proud person and don't like hand outs how can i do this without offending her
