I was with a mate this morning as he was looking a buying at car from some bloke and I've got to say I've never been in a house that was as dirty and smelly as this one, the garden outside was growing wild with rusty engines and broken appliances everywhere, the inside was not decorated and there was writing and spray painting on all the walls, rubbish and clutter was everywhere and there was old food wrappings from I don't know when. What amazed me most of all was that even though the house was a disgrace, they had the most ultra modern massive TV that stood out like gold in the centre of the room with all the latest mod cons and the blokes girlfriend/wife was sat there with her feet up and not a care in the world, I found this kinda strange because you'd think they'd take the effort and plus everything else in the house was falling apart! I remembered my manners though and wiped my feet on the way out! What would you think and what do you think?

Hi guys! I've got my room re-decorated right, and i was confused what to have painted on one wall, 3 walls are white and the other one is black. On the black one i was gonna have a crowd of people in suits with hair and faces but then in the middle i was gonna have a person with a red shirt on and a faceless face, and on the top with white writing THEY ARE NOT YOU will be painted. If there are any one tree hill fans out there they would know its from Peyton. Any suggestions what else i could maybe have? Cause i have until tonight to decide and im soooo confused! PLEASE HELP! Im wanting to decorate my bedroom i only have a smallish box room i have a radiator and a double bed with a single on top but there is actualy only one place for my bed to go i have a single wardrobe a set of draws and a bed side table oh and also a tvstand i dont know how to have all my junk you know like where or how i can store it and also i dont know what colour i can paint to make it look warmer and bigger my main colours are chocolate beige and cream =] thank you xxx

i've recently moved and me and my partner are trying to strip the wall paper in our bedroom so we can paint. we were going to wallpaper ourselves but the walls are bowed and making it difficult. anyway, we started stripping to find at least 20 different layers of wallpaper/ paint. we've managed to reach the last layer of paint which is an awful brown/red colour and we just can't get it off. we can't paint over it as one of the colours is really light and will show the brown colour. we are using the violet mist and diva colours in 2 tone (diva bottom, violet top) http://www.johnstonespaint.com/default_majestic.asp?section=20&product=1 also our bedrooms massive and i've had to spend £50 on the paint so i can't afford any more out goings. (i don't think the 5l's of each will be enough)

I have actually finished decorating at last, its taken me so long to do all the painting and paperhanging, etc, that ive forgotten what else to do. What do you suggest?
