Pattern Imprinted

Pattern imprinted concrete, as it is known, works by stamping moulds and adding colours into in-situ concrete.

The system combines colour surface hardeners, release agents and acrylic sealers with three-dimensional texturing tools create remarkable designs. Pattern imprinted concrete for driveways can be designed to re-create many effects such as slate, flags, cobbles, granite and block driveway pavers. But by using imagination and combining several patterns and colours, many special effects or individual creations for driveway can be created. Pattern imprinted driveways concrete is by far the most superior paving system on the market place and with minimal maintenance will last a lifetime.

  • Open Question: what is the best moss killer on paved driveways?

  • Voting Question: Anyone recommend a great I.S.P?

I am currently with Virgin which is through the old NTL line to my home, there is better deals on the market for broadband and telephone packages but because my line is NTL I am struggling to find a provider, as most go through a British Telecom line, I cannot have the line replaced as I have block paving around my driveway, any info would be great, thanks.

  • Voting Question: How long do the blades last in a (Belle) Minipave block splitter?

Before I buy one, can someone please tell me (roughly) how long a set of blades last in a belle minipave block paving splitter. I know it depends how much it used and how big the jobs are, but I am looking for a rough idea......I don't want to buy one if I have to buy 3 sets of blades per driveway!! Any help will be gratefully appreciated!!

  • Resolved Question: Buying a family home: would you prefer more living accomodation, or a garage?

We are considering making our tandem garage (ie single width, double length) into a kitchen/diner/family room, and also putting a large double bedroom/ensuite on top. At the moment we don't really use the garage, just for general junk. My concern is whether losing the garage would put us in a worse position when we eventually sell the house. We would still have a private driveway, and potential for off-street parking for another 1 - 2 cars if the front garden was paved over. On street parking is also available, but like most UK streets becoming busier as the years go by. Your opinions please? The conversion would be for our benefit - we'd plan to stay here until our kids grow up and leave home. It wouldn't be a project intended to add value for selling the house.

  • Resolved Question: Should I replace paving slabs with stone chippings.?

My paved drive is starting to move and sink in parts. we are selling the house and I was thinking of putting stone chippings down in place of the slabs as a cheap way of sprucing the driveway up. Do I need to put a new sub base and do the chippings cause more problems.
