Full survey and recommendations covering all aspects of deterrents and control- even weeds.

pest control rodents insects infestation

A general outline of what would take place in pest control is: a survey will be made of the property, anti-pest advice given on preventative measures which can be taken, and if necessary, placement of rodent poison on the property, especially in kitchens with the safety of children and pets in mind. A safety domestic pest control sheet will be issued and follow up visits will be arranged at the time.

  • Resolved Question: My mum has a Wasps nest right by her front door, are the council responsible for removing it ?

My mum lives in a council house, she has a Wasps nest right by her front door, it is actually nestled within the canopy of the house. My little nephew has already been stung so my mum contacted the local authorities to ask that they come out & remove it. She was told she would have to pay to have it moved by pest control else she could buy sprays & attempt to get rid of them herself. Surely if it's council property they should come & remove it free of charge, especially when people are getting stung too. Anyone got any suggestions or recommendations please ?

  • Voting Question: Unwanted cats in your garden; what do you think of these anti-cat products

  • Resolved Question: Pest control for cat fleas?

I posted a question last night about cat fleas, and thanks to everyone who answered. I have spent the whole day and a small fortune today but they are still here. I know they are more annoying than harmful but the thought of them in my home is driving me mad!! Has anyone used a pest control company, if so are they expensive? The cat is fine now, I used frontline the minute I realised she had them and she doesnt appear to scratching at all now. For some reason you cant buy flea bombs here (Ireland) but have used powders, sprays the past few days and constant hoovering of carpets, beds but there still appears to be a crapload of them in the house!!

  • Resolved Question: Very itchy bed and house, think its fleas what do I do ?

MY house has something that's making me itchy, I think its fleas, I can't see the bites, it itches so I can't sleep properly in bed, and the previous owners have a cat. Is pest control the only choice. I don't have a cat, I hoover and wash bed linen once a week.
