Plumbing undertakes a large sphere of work. Work associated with the provision of water supply pipework including that used for fire fighting; all forms of space heating, gas installation, sanitary appliances, discharge pipework and drainage; the weathering of structures and buildings. Some plumbers work as 'wet only plumbers', dealing with piped systems for water such as installing radiators, bathroom suites and showers, drain and sewer clearance. Others decide to take additional plumbing courses and branch out into the gas trade so they can install gas central heating systems as well, so they must be CORGI registered fitters.
We have a house with 3 bed rooms, kitchen, sitting room and bath room. Currently there is no plumbing. Would anybody know a ball point figure on how much it would cost to get central heating, radiators, water tank, shower, toilet, bathroom & kitchen sink all hooked up and done. Plumbing the whole house in shorter terms?? 10 points up for grabs Is that euro or pound Thanks Navi (rude ****), Ireland is where I live. And there is a speptic tank, its a really old house we are renavating, the toilet is located outside at the moment getting cold now...i want to fit a radiator in my garage[aprox 20 ft from house] and plumb it into the houses central heating system...whats needed and how to do it? i am quite capable of doimng it just ive never messed around with them before...im asuming i just ''plumb'' it into an exsisting radiator [in and out pipes] but as there will be more water needed for the full system will it top itself up or have i got to do it.. thanks radiators up stairs are lovely and hot the ones down stairs only get warm tried to bleed them still the same any ideas Because I do and I've had nothing but grief from it, Aga/Rayburn and the installers. This thing cost £9000 to supply and fit and then it was fitted by monkeys; name and shame I say, Hoad & Taylor, Surrey. They had to come back and make corrections but I ended up doing the plumbing myself as they clearly couldn't! Corgi and a separate installer condemned it as dangerously leaking fumes into the room. I t condenses water from the exhaust on the cold parts of the cooker during warm up and Rayburn just sit on their thumbs, 3 months later there it sits quietly rusting away in the kitchen. Has anybody else had any experiences with the 480CD unit? I ask because I am looking to see if this is an isolated case before I haul their arse's through the courts. Thanks. We've had a new central heating system fitted. The boiler collects condensation, so they fitted a pump and the pipe from the pump goes out into the garden. I've been told that's where it has to be, as it contains acid water (surely that cannot be good for the garden) I think it needs to be plumbed in somewhere else, but don't know where... (personally... i reckon they're trying to fob me off) Can anyone advise please!? Does anyone knows good bid directory providing quality SEO links based in UK? I would like to get some quality listings under Home improvement sites. |
