  • Open Question: Lead flashing - cost?

I recently had a quote of £1600 to do lead flashing on my roof (both sides) to cure a leak, and would be interested to know what others think of this price. The quote is for all materials, labour and VAT. It is an average sized mid terrace house in London's East End, and I would particularly like to hear from people in my area who have had this done in the last few years.

  • Open Question: Oi! When Roof Lorenzo said it ain't the end it's only the beginning, wot exactly did she mean?

I reckon we've seen the last of her meself. She's as much chance of making it in the music biz as that Jayne MacDonald bird. The world is full of karaoke singers doing Celine Dion impersonations. She'd better join the queue! Oi! Fog urself: Why don't ya turn the caps lock off if you can find it?! Oi Mink: That Dermot O' Leary bloke is about as Irish as I am! PS A sexy girl like you could turn Julian Clary straight, don't give up! ;-) Oi Creative Maestro: I'd pay Jayne MacDonald loadsa money not to sing!

  • Open Question: Have you put your Christmas decorations up yet?

A few houses near me have had them up for about 2 weeks! I won't be putting mine up until 13th or 14th December. When do you put yours up? Also do you go for the Santa's grotto look and decorate the whole house right to the roof or do you go for just a Christmas tree and a bit of tinsel here and there?

  • Open Question: Cheap Wireless Router?

I've been looking on Amazon for a cheap wireless Router, but i dont really no how i can tell if it is good or not. i just read the reviews, can anyone reccomend an under £20 wireless router that will be strong enough to send through the roof of downstairs, and still have a good signal?

  • Open Question: I have a corrugated tin garage roof that is suffering from condensation What can i do.?
